OK, I’ve had a few emails from people saying that this site does not work on some browsers and is slow to download etc, so thanks to my webmaster at two seven it’s all fixed now. Cheers Dan.

Good stuff. I was wondering why it looked so funny in Netscape 4…
OK - but what was changed?
I’ve asked webmaster Dan to answer that. It was something to do with having proper code etc.
Err, there was also a rather embarrasing type that he fixed up.
Markup should now be valid XHTML 1.0 Transitional across all pages.
I also tweaked the styles to get consistent heading rendering in the sidebar.
There was also a typo in one of the category names: ‘rugby’ was spelled ‘rubgy’. I must say, it’s not an obvious typo - it had been on the site for ages and no-one had picked it up until just the other day.
It’s easy to fix in WordPress, but just correcting the category name was only half the job. Read about how it was fixed.
OK, enough already - this website is about sport not computer programming :)
